Africa through iPhone in mostra a Cagliari dall’11 al 17 ottobre

Africa through iPhone arriva anche a Cagliari, con trenta scatti che saranno in mostra all’Hostel Marina (Scalette S. Sepolcro) dall’11 al 17 ottobre, nell’ambito di “incontri d’AFFRICA”.

Immagini, parole e musica, dal continente africano: è questo, in sintesi, quello che propone “incontri d’AFFRICA” – l’11, il 12 e il 13 ottobre a Cagliari (Hostel Marina, scalette San Sepolcro). Tre serate di incontri e di racconti con protagonisti dell’Africa contemporanea; nello stile di AFFRICA, scansando cliché e immagini stereotipate.

Sostengono l’evento: la Provincia di Cagliari, la Fondazione Luca Raggio, la Fondazione Banco di Sardegna, AIG Hostel Marina ed ETICANDO.

Honorable Mention

I am thrilled to announce I was awarded an “Honorable Mention” at this year’sInternational Photography Awards IPA 10-years anniversary edition, Category Wildlife-professional, for a series of five images entitled “Moving, the colors of African Wildlife”.

The 2012 International Photography Awards received nearly 18,000 submissions from 104 countries across the globe. IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards gala ceremony. The Foundation’s mission is to honor master photographers, to discover new and emerging talent and to promote the appreciation of photography.
